Our Clinic

 This is a home based clinic in South Surrey, BC. Canada that opened in 2014, providing Registered Massage Therapy, and Manual Therapy to the general population. We have one practitioner that works Mon / Tues / Thurs / Fri from 9am - 2:15pm with occasional availability outside of those hours given to those on the cancellation list as first priority.

Parking is on the South side of the street. And there are 4 concrete steps with a railing en route to our front door.

What to Expect In Clinic

After you have booked your appointment online, you will soon receive a confirmation email. The automated system will generate a second email to be sent out 2 days before your appointment - as a reminder. 

Please feel free to wear whatever you would like, as long as you dont mind the potential risk of a transfer of oil/lotion to your clothing. If what you are wearing cannot be soiled in any way, please let Paige know and she can remove all oils from your skin prior to your redressing.

This is Huxley, our hypoallergenic Australian Labradoodle. He has a very gentle disposition, and would love to meet you.  If being around dogs makes you nervous in any kind of way, please let Paige know and she will make sure to keep him away from you.

Your First Appointment

When you arrive - we will go over your health history form, I will do an initial sight scan, and then standing palpation on the areas that are indicated to investigate further with your verbal consent. We will then talk about a treatment plan and have you read & sign the treatment consent form for treatment. 

I will leave the room to make notes in your file while you undress to your comfort level and move onto the table. I ask that if able - you draw the sheets to cover yourself from the neck down. If this is not possible, then I will cover you immediately upon reentering the room. I will adjust the pillows and table to support your body's frame, and then begin with treatment. 

During a session, my hands are always micro assessing to further identify your needs at any given time. The pressure given may be light in some areas to access certain tissue, and it may be deep in other areas to access other tissue.  You are welcome to ask questions along the way if ever a question comes up for you =) 

Please feel free at any time to make suggestions on what kind of music you prefer.  

And regarding conversation during a session - it is entirely up to you! If you want a quiet session, or a chatty session I'm comfortable with either. I do find it easier to tune in with the body if it is a quiet environment though. So results tend to have a better outcome with less talking. 

Once finished our massage, I will always re-drape you and give you a gentle reminder to take it slow while getting off the table as there is always the possibility of being unsteady. I will leave the room, shut the door behind me, and wait for you to undress and open the door to come out on your own. 

Keep in mind that every moment during our treatment must be consensual. If there is any thing that makes you uncomfortable in any kind of way, I will always be reading body language, but ultimately it is up to you to clearly communicate that to me so that I can adjust accordingly.
